History Pageant
STEP BACK IN TIME and meet characters from the iron age, the middle ages, Roman Soldiers, Elizabethans and learn about the rich history of the village.
The Pageant will take place on the Recreation Ground in North Baddesley. You are invited to bring a picnic at 4.30 pm (plus rugs and chairs) and watch the performance at 6.00 pm, .the actors will be children from the Junior School. During the afternoon there will also be sideshows and crafts will be demonstrated. The North Baddesley History Society and Red Cross will be putting up displays. After the performance there will be a falconry display.
A treasure hunt will also be given out on the day, and the winner/winners will receive a prize. There is also a Raffle, which will be drawn on the evening.
There is amble parking on the Recreation Ground, entrance via Castle Lane only for vehicles, Nutburn Road for pedestrians. For those who have no transport a dial-a-ride bus has also been booked (please telephone the parish office on 023 80737617 for timings and pick-up points)
Saturday 12th July - Church Open between 10.00 am and 2 pm (guided tours on Sunday 13th)
Sunday 13th - Church Open 12.00 - 3 pm for guided tours
