The Beggars Fair

The Beggars Fair started life in 1993 and has now grown to become Romsey's busiest weekend in the year.

Over 60 acts will be appearing, encompassing an eclectic mixture of musical styles from folk to jazz, blues to classical, together with dancers, street theatre and arts & crafts. Many performers are from the area, but some come from much further afield. Romsey's open spaces - the Market Place, the Memorial Park and King John's Garden - are utilised as venues, together with the clubs, pubs and churches.

Performances will take place on Friday evening, and all day Saturday - from morning until late. All events are free. Full programme details are available from the Beggars Fair's own brochure or from www.beggarsfair.com
