Romsey Singers

A programme of music with a distinctly salty air - from Stanford's Songs of the Fleet with Rory Waters (baritone) to Richard Rodney Bennett's Sea Change - a setting of texts contemporary with the 16th century epic sea voyages of discovery.

Romsey Singers, directed by Ian Wicks, is a choir of about 30 members who specialise in unaccompanied music. They perform three regular concerts a year and occasionally provide the music for services in Cathedrals around the country. www.romseysingers.org.uk
